The 2015 Academy Awards have come and gone. After months and months of hype, just like that it's back to waiting another whole year to celebrate the best and brightest of Hollywood. Award season is over and now Hollywood has set its focus on building towards the summer blockbuster season. This year's ceremony was, as always, a divisive one. There were some who felt that Selma was overlooked by the Academy and Neil Patrick Harris was hit-and-miss as the host. There was also, quite bizarrely, some criticism of Patricia Arquette's impassioned call for equal pay amongst men and women. But generally, the right films and performances won on the night. Few would argue that Birdman was an undeserving Best Picture winner or that Alejandro González Iñárritu didn't merit his Best Director win (although there were some who believed Boyhood and its director Richard Linklater should have got the nod). Eddie Redmayne was a clear favourite for Best Actor and Julianne Moore finally won an Oscar after five nominations. The musical performances by The Lonely Island, Lady Gaga and John Legend and Common were all exceptional in their own right and there were some very good speeches, too. Now, after the hoopla has died down, it is time to reflect on the ceremony and begin speculation for next year. In the meantime, here are ten photos from the ceremony that you might have missed.

They may look like they're having a good time but The Boyhood crew had to be disappointed to only be walking away with a Best Supporting Actress win for Patricia Arquette.
