The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been doing an awesome job so far. But unlike the comics, they can't go on indefinitely. Eventually, actors will age out of roles and changes will need to be made in order to keep these franchises fresh.

Following the Secret Wars crossover event in the comics, Marvel made some changes to their funny-book universe. New characters were brought in, some characters changed identities, and concepts got fresh spins placed on them.
