10 All-New All-Different Marvel Ideas The MCU Should Use

Everyone in the MCU knows the Howling Commandos as a team of soldiers led by Captain America in World War II, and that's more or less what the comics were as well (except Nick Fury led them there). A few years ago, Marvel took the term a little bit literally and created a comic that featured supernatural creatures working for SHIELD.

As part of the ANAD relaunch, Marvel revived that idea. During the Original Sin crossover, it was revealed that Dum Dum Dugan wasn't kept alive by the same Infinity Formula that kept Nick Fury young - but he was actually a Life Model Decoy.

For the new Howling Commandos, SHIELD revived the LMD Dugan and put him in charge of a team that included Warwolf, Vampire By Night, Man-Thing, Manphibian, Orrgo, Teen Abomination, Hit-Monkey, and a zombified Jasper Sitwell.

The MCU has started to explore the mystical side of Marvel, so what better way to expand that than the Howling Commandos? Though it was only a limited series, it was also a hell of a lot of fun. And it would give Marvel an excuse to bring back the excellent Neal McDonough as Dugan.
