10 Amazing Comic Book Redesigns That Didn't Last

10. Spider-Woman's Jacket

The original Spider-Woman outfit is a bit of a relic, which is why it's something of a surprise to see it mounting a comeback in the pages of Marvel Strikeforce, a comic set to release later in 2019.

There's nothing inherently bad about the costume, but it does sort of conform to the old skin-tight mantra of designs gone by. It's why it was so interesting to see Jessica get a new look in 2014. courtesy of artists Kris Anka and Javier Rogriguez.

No longer donning the jumpsuit of yore, Drew now had a practical outfit that was functional, fashionable, and looked like the kind of outfit a super-spy/superhero would actually wear.

Drew sadly featured only sporadically in the years following the introduction of this outfit, and there's currently no word on why it was dropped. Here's hoping it mounts a comeback somewhere down the line.
