8. Blue Beetle
Show: Arrow or The Flash
Some people might not know this, but initially, it was supposed to be Blue Beetle that appeared on Arrow instead of The Atom, but DC was too hesitant about it to be comfortable with it. This is a bit confusing as Jaime Reyes, the third Blue Beetle, appeared in The CW show Smallville.
The Beetle suit is a piece of alien technology that bonds to a host and gives them unique powers such as flight, vibration manipulation, superhuman strength, and energy blasts just to name a few. Throughout its life, it has had three hosts; Dan Garrett, Ted Kord, and Jaime Reyes.
On Earth-1 Ted Kord owns the business Kord Industries, a company that has appeared many times on both The Flash and Arrow. Usually, the bad guy of the episode tries to steal some form of technology from there and seeing how the Blue Beetle is a piece of alien technology it makes sense that Ted Kord could someday appear as the Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle could add a unique flavour to Earth-1 of the Arrowverse seeing how Arrow and Flash have barely done a thing elaborating on the alien life within the shows.
