4. Deadshot

Deadshot2-e1348766323796Origin: Floyd Lawton adored his brother when he was a child. One day his mother convinced his brother to kill her husband, whom all three hated. In an attempt to save his father, Floyd hung from a tree with a shotgun to shoot the gun out of his brother's hand to save him from a grim future. However, when the branch broke, he ended up shooting his brother in the head, killing the brother he loved and saving the father he hated. When he grew up, Lawton worked under the name Deadshot as is a gun for hire, known to be the second best assassin in the DC Universe after Deathstroke. Both will appear as one of the 8 assassins sent to kill Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins. Abilities: Expert Marksman (Preferred weapons: silenced wrist mounted guns) First Appearance: Deadshot first appeared in Batman #59, in June 1950. In this story he tried to take over Gotham's underworld when his plan to take over Batman's title as a hero failed. However, this plan was foiled by Batman and Commissioner Gordon. He was captured and jailed at Blackgate Penitentiary. After serving his jail, Lawton went on to join Amanda Waller's secret Suicide Squad, due to his skill and his desire to die spectacularly.
