10 Greatest X-Men Of All Time

9. Storm

Wolverine The Long Night
Marvel Comics

It is hard to imagine the X-Men without Storm. Ororo Munroe has pretty much done it all from the time she grew up as an orphan on the streets of Cairo to being Queen of Wakanda, all the way to becoming the leader of a group of some of the world's most powerful beings.

When she debuted in 1975 Munroe was being worshipped as a weather-controlling goddess. But since joining the ranks of Professor Xavier's School for the Gifted, she has become one of the most exemplary members of the X-Men.

Armed with the power to control the weather on a planetary scale, Storm easily ranks as one of the strongest mutants on the planet Earth. In space, she has controlled solar winds and used hydrogen atoms to create a massive bolt of lightning to disable the Silver Surfer.

As a teammate, she is a rational and an inspiring example for the other members. As a leader, she never backed down, and as a result of her commitment to what is right, the X-Men became stronger than ever.
