There are a lot of ways to make a person cry. This goes so deep in our psychology that it's actually been discovered that tears taste differently depending on the reason that you're crying.

As such, fiction has found and exploited pretty much every way to make a person cry short of physically harming the audience. And frankly, if Mel Gibson could, he would.

Marvel has been around for almost a century, and they've made fans cry for a number of reasons. Whether due to sadness, rage, disappointment, or seeing that a particularly infamous writer is taking the reigns on your favourite comic. Today, however, we're looking at the most heartwarming Marvel moments that made us all cry like babies.

Now, since there are still tears implied here, then the scene in question has to be at least a little sad. But the moment should still warm even the most cold of readers' hearts in the process. Whether its due to something unsaid finally coming out, or a death that feels sad yet fitting, these are the most heartwarming Marvel Comics moments that made fans everywhere break out the tissues.

10. Silk Finds Her Brother - Silk

The inciting incident for the Secret Wars storyline was that the Ultimates universe and the 616 universe collided into each other for reasons that make my nose bleed and my eyes roll backward whenever I try to explain.

As you can imagine, most people uninvolved with this event looked at the suspiciously Earth-like planet hurtling towards New York and thought "Oh, okay, end of the world. Understood." And then proceeded to panic.

Except for Cindy Moon, aka Silk, of course. See, throughout her short lived solo run, she had been searching for her long lost younger brother, Albert. And wouldn't you know it, around the same time where she finally figures out where he is, the incursion starts happening and everything is going absolutely crazy.

With the help of J. Jonah Jameson, Silk manages to track her lost sibling down. The scene where she and her brother finally reunite, right as the incursion is fully coming into effect and the world is ending as they know it, is one of the most emotional moments in the entire Spider-Man canon. And considering the competition this moment has in order to be called that, that is saying something.
