10 Hilariously Rubbish Comic Book Villains

Are polka dots, ice cream and condiments the tools of a great villain?

Over the years, comic books have produced some of fiction's most memorable villains. From Lex Luthor to the Joker, many of these nefarious characters have since become popular across a wide spectrum of media, such as films and video games. While the medium of comic books is clearly a great one when it comes to the creation of fantastic characters, not every villain has proven to be a classic. In fact, it's safe to say that there have been a few that would rank among the worst of all time. This list takes a look at 10 of the most laughably terrible comic book villains of all time. From stupid weapons to ridiculous costumes, the only super powers these villains have is the ability to make just about anyone laugh at their absurdity.

10. Codpiece

Codpiece is a villain so rubbish that even his creator has disowned him. In fact, nobody will even admit to being the creator of Codpiece, a villain best known for building a cannon directly onto his groin. Inside this cannon, Codpiece can unleash everything from flamethrowers and guns to boxing gloves and scissors. Codpiece also has the honour of having one of the most hilarious origin stories ever. While in high school, Codpiece asked a popular girl out on a date. Not knowing how to let him down lightly, the girl claimed that he wasn't "big enough." She meant his height, but it gave Codpiece an inferiority complex when it came to his manhood. He became increasingly sensitive about it as he got older, resulting in one of the most ridiculous villains ever to grace the DC universe.
