Not all alternate versions of the Justice League are evil; some versions are just a bit weirder than most. Back in 2001, Stan Lee hopped over to the DC Universe and put his spin on the company's most popular heroes: the folks in the Justice League.

Lee's books were titled Just Imagine... and featured Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Robin, Shazam, Aquaman, Catwoman, Sandman, and the combined Justice League of America. He approached the characters as if he knew nothing of their origins, which allowed him to recreate them conceptually as if he had launched them in the first place.

These new characters were vastly different from their historical counterparts, but they provided a fascinating approach on heroes we all knew and loved. Stan Lee gave the world Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and many others—why not see what his idea of Superman might look like?

Thanks to DC's Multiverses, the characters were established to exist in Earth-6 with Grant Morrison's The Multiversity series from 2014.
