9. The Original Turtles Had A Body Count

If there's any consistent part of the various TMNT incarnations, at least on television, it's this: despite using weapons, the turtles never actually take a life, at least intentionally. Sure, the 2003 show on 4Kids had Baxter Stockman's body become more and more destroyed with each appearance - to the point where he's just a brain in a jar - but that was mostly his own fault.

The foot clan are either robots, or skilled and hardy enough to save themselves whenever the turtles knock them off the side of a building. Which is hilarious when you consider that the Turtles in the original Mirage comics killed like it was going out of style.

From the foot clan, to other various minions - hell, the scene from the 1990 movie where shredder falls into a garbage truck? That's actually from the comics. Difference is that he doesn't come back, and the turtles don't leave enough of the foot clan behind in an average fight with them to pick up with a pastry scraper.
