8. Fighting A Shaman
Proving old-school comics can be just as badass as their modern siblings, this 1992 comic contains a particularly hardcore example, when Daredevil has a surreal fight with a shaman who was controlling his mind.
Half the fight takes place in an epic dream fight, that takes place in a setting that looks like something off of a heavy metal album cover. It’s a little more Devil May Cry than usual Daredevil, but there’s something about watching the Man Without Fear fight a villain who has possessed him that is uniquely badass.
Although, it does mean Daredevil was accidentally involved in human trafficking, which one cool voodoo fight doesn’t totally make up for.
