Short of dealing with the Norse apocalypse, it's been a mystery as to what the plot of Ragnarok is going to entail. That was, until a detailed rumour surfaced outlining just what the villainess Hela had planned

According to a source, the Norse ruler of Hel is going to be actively working with Loki, who is still posing as the king of Asgard. Together, they will purportedly be well into their nefarious scheme before Thor even catches on to what’s happening.

To get rid of him, they incite some sort of incident which results in Thor’s departure from Asgard. Some have assumed this will mean the destruction of his hammer, Mjolnir or perhaps the death of his friend Heimdall.

To make things more interesting, Hela is actually Loki's daughter in the comics. That seems a little complicated to explain for the film but that strong familial bond displays the connection these two characters have, making their partnership all the more believable.

It’s unclear what their motivations are, but everything makes it sound as if these two villains are definitely in cahoots. That might not give a total sense of the plot but it sounds like an exciting starting point for the film, especially since The Dark World lacked a compelling storyline for the villain.
