2014 had highs, lows, and a bunch of pretty cool covers, but it's time to put a pin in the last twelve months of comic books. We must move forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards the next year in comic books, and all of the most anticipated new series, events and characters to look forward to. This past year has been pretty great when it comes to all of those things, and the only thing that looks ready to top it is 2015. Peering into the crystal ball of comic book solicitations reveals a pretty exciting future for your favourite four-colour medium, with some of this year's best inventions returning (and then some), the finales to some long-running epics...and Squirrel Girl. Worlds will collide both literally and figuratively and both new and returning creators will continue to blow minds, take readers on totally new adventures and, erm, give Riverdale a little bit of a spruce. Then there's one other big geek event in the new year which might very well come into play as well... Gwen Stacy, various incarnations of the multiverse, more shared cinematic universes than you can shake a stick at and the long-awaited return to a galaxy far, far away are all on the cards for the ten hotly anticipated comic events of 2015.
