10 Most Ridiculous Supervillain Plots In Comics History

9. Ra's Al Ghul Tortures Robin To See If He'd Be A Good Father

Tim Drake has now been mostly abandoned by DC continuity, since the rebooted Batman's history doesn't have a whole lot of room for him to have adopted five separate Robins. So Jason Todd is the Red Hood, Dick Grayson was Nightwing and now a spy, Damien Wayne is the current Robin, and Tim is... erm, Red Robin. This once-cool character has since been lumbered with some truly awful storylines to go along with his uninspired new name and terrible new costume. Red Robin has never really had any villains of his own, having to deal with cast-offs of Batman's rogues' gallery €“ and he's always been a target of immortal warrior Ra's al Ghul. In a recent storyline, however, he wasn't targeted by the League of Assassins to make Batman feel bad. No, Ra's decided to put Tim Drake through a series of attempted hits and trials because he wanted to see if he would be a decent heir to his dynasty. Basically, he was setting Tim up on a blind date with... himself. Which is sort of weird.
