10 Movies We Want In Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4

With The Avengers likely closing up shop after Infinity War, who can fill the void?

The folks at Marvel have finally figured out that if you want to have a successful comic book movie, you have to let comic book people make it. The Fantastic Four, Punisher and... urk... Catwoman movies prove that stuffed suits studio executives just don't have the geeky insider know-how to pull off a worthy hero flick. If Avengers: Infinity War turns out to be the magnum opus we all believe it will, Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have to break out some big guns to keep the box office momentum a' rollin'. Odds are good that most of the properties introduced in Phase 3 will have sequels (Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and Black Panther will almost certainly have part-twos). Kevin Feige and company know how the bread is buttered, and have amassed huge success with characters we would have never dreamed of putting on the silver screen 15 years ago. Director Kevin Smith recently stated that "we are in a golden age" when it comes to comic fandom. With Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, Supergirl on CBS, Arrow and Flash on CW, Daredevil on Netflix and new stuff coming out all the time, fans of even little-known crime fighters have a chance of seeing their favorites play out in live action. Who would have ever expected to see an Inhumans movie? Being the risk-takers that they are, Marvel can keep mixing in some new blood with the guaranteed seat-fillers. Capitalizing on the old and the new, these 10 films would shine in Marvel's Phase 4.
