10 Problems Only DC Comics Fans Will Understand

There issues definitely need to be resolved in time for DC's next reboot!

In 2011, DC Comics rebooted their comic book universe and ushered in a new era of storytelling. It was a controversial move at the time, but one which helped to increase sales and simplify decades worth of confusing continuity. The DC Universe was suddenly a lot more accessible to new readers and exciting for old ones as they got to enjoy a slightly different and fresher take on many of their favourite heroes and villains. "The New 52" was far from perfect from the very start, and more and more issues have arisen over the past few years. Some are typical of any comic book publisher (take a look at ten of Marvel's biggest problems by clicking here), but almost all of the points below are specific to DC and the decisions they've been making since that reboot. Whether it's serious continuity issues or too much of certain heroes getting the spotlight, there's a lot DC needs to work on over the next few years if they want to beat Marvel to the top of the sales charts. Seeing as yet another reboot of sorts has now been announced for this June, it feels more relevant than ever to examine some of DC's many issues in the hope that they will be fixed when a number of titles are relaunched or introduced. This is not to say that DC is all bad of course. Far from it. There's no denying the quality of many of the books they put out each month, but even the publisher's biggest fans will recognise these big problems...
