10 Problems With Spider-Man Nobody Wants To Admit

Does whatever a spider can... or can he?

Everyone knows how the song goes: Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can...except he can't, really, can he?

There's the vague €œproportional strength and speed of a spider€ thing, but otherwise, Peter Parker ad actual arachnids couldn't be more different. Spider Sense isn't a real thing, his webs are (usually) artificial instead of coming out of his butt, he only has two eyes, and the regular amount of limbs.

Obviously the power set isn't really a problem with Spider-Man, since the relatable teen superhero Stan Lee and Steve Ditko were after would be a lot different if he was actually more like a half-man, half-spider (though“ the few times he has ended up like that have been undeniably terrifying).

Your friendly neighbourhood webhead is one of the most enduringly popular and beloved characters in comics history principally because he was so relatable, so fallibly human. Well, he's supposed to be, anyway. Is Spider-Man quite the character everybody makes him out to be, though?

For a dork, he's pretty popular with the ladies. And for a put upon superhero, he sure does spend a lot of time not acting particularly heroic or put upon. That's not to mention his movies...ugh. Here are ten problems with Spider-Man nobody wants to admit.
