10 Strangest Jack Kirby Creations

10. Doughboy

Doughboy Doughboy is, perhaps, one of the better-known characters on our list of Jack Kirby's strange creations, but he should not be confused with the small, ticklish man who loves dinner rolls. Doughboy first appeared almost four decades ago in 1977€™s Captain America #209. He is a creation of Arnim Zola, supervillain and sometimes robot from the Marvel Universe. Doughboy is a blob like creature that takes the form of some kind of uncooked dough with eyes, a mouth and arms. On paper, Doughboy has the potential to be a pretty dastardly villain, if not a delicious pie. He has super strength, can stretch and bend into almost any shape, much like dough, and can fly at subsonic speeds. The one caveat is that Doughboy has virtually no intelligence, and can do almost nothing unless under the command of someone. In such circumstances, he is as threatening to Marvel superheroes as a tasty pastry.
