9. Raven
As Raven, Rachel Roth uses her magical powers to help the Teen Titans. However, the source of her powers is her demonic father Trigon and so she must constantly fight against his influence. It doesn't always go so well.
Raven has been victim to frequent attempts by Trigon to posses her, turning her into a demonic looking four-eyed version of herself. She even formed the Teen Titans to help her defeat her father and after they succeeded, she seemed free of his influence for a time. Unfortunately, that came crashing down when Raven began experiencing feelings that she had initially kept suppressed. Whenever Raven would become overwhelmed with emotion, her demonic form would take over.
The worst incident came after she seemingly died stopping the Wildebeest Society, a cult who worshipped her father. Raven reappeared in her demonic form at Nightwing and Starfire's wedding. She killed several guests and implanted others, including Starfire, with "Trigon's seeds" which would allow him to possess new bodies and whose name makes that absolutely in no way hilarious. She also turned Beast Boy into her monstrous servant.
It turned out though, that the seed implanted in Starfire was actually part of Raven's soul which allowed her to be reborn, free of Trigon's influence.
