10. He Was Born During An Unusual Planetary Alignment
Star-Lord's birth origins have changed a few times over the years, but he was actually originally immaculately conceived. Born during a strange astronomical phenomenon on February the 4th, when the planets were unusually aligned, the man who thought he was his father saw absolutely no resemblance between himself and his supposed son. As a result, he actually tried to kill the young Star-Lord and was only prevented from doing so when he had a heart attack. The child who would go on to be an intergalactic hero would, therefore, be raised by his single mother Meredith. Of course, that original origin story was retconned so that his father was J'son of Spartax, but he was initially born immaculately like Jesus Christ himself.
