10 Things Marvel Wants You To Forget About Wolverine

He's the best there is at what he does. What is that again?

There€™s never been a better time to be a fan of Wolverine, everybody€™s favourite snarling, charming, clawed member of the X-Men (and, let€™s be honest, every other team that lets him and his disquieting approach to human interaction and hygiene through the main doors). Well, he€™s just been killed off in the comic books, but that€™s obviously a prelude to a big comeback - nobody ever stays dead in comics - and Hugh Jackman€™s Logan single-handedly resurrected the X-Men movie series with this year€™s Days Of Future Past. He€™s the best there is at what he does, and whilst what he does may not be very nice, audiences can€™t look away. Since his introduction back in the seventies, replete in Bananaman-esque outfit, Wolverine has been a fan favourite character. His uncertain origins, mysterious past and gruff demeanour put him at odds with many of the sunnier, more open superheroes of the era; he€™s undergone significant changes since then, but that original intrigue still remains. Logan is one of Marvel€™s most bankable stars, which is why you see him absolutely ruddy everywhere. It€™s also why they tend to keep quiet about a lot of those uncertain origins and that mysterious past - but comics fans never forget. Here are ten things Marvel wants you to forget about Wolverine.
