8. He Was An Excellent Academic
Dick Grayson has been often depicted as something of a "dumb delinquent" type (see the Joel Schumacher Batman movies for an example). Despite this, there have been several instances where the former Boy Wonder showed he is well versed in liberal arts in addition to his prowess in martial arts.
In Batman #18 (August/September 1943) Dick was essentially "grounded" by Batman for receiving poor grades. However, the conclusion of this story showed that Dick was sent home with the wrong report card. His actual grades were straight As; he excelled in fields such as chemistry, physics, and Latin.
He also displayed journalism aspirations in both Detective Comics #390 and #491 where he worked for both his high school and university newspapers.
Despite dropping out of college, hes supplemented his income with various side jobs. These include bartending and joining the Bludhaven PD.
