15 Superhero Voice Actors Who Totally Nailed Their Characters

15. Steven Blum: Wolverine

Steve Blum may not have been the first to voice the character in animation, or even in video games, but his voice is just so suited to him. Indeed, it's more than likely that you'll recognise the voice actor in a bunch of video game and cartoon-related projects, as he has one of the most recognisably gruff voices out there. A perfect fit, then, for old Canucklehead himself.

Funnily enough, Blum's first turn as Wolvie' came in 2004's X-Men Legends, a dungeon-crawler RPG set in the X-Men Universe. Successive appearances as the mutant followed, and Blum was rewarded with an animated appearance as the character in both Hulk Vs Wolverine and in Wolverine and The X-men.

He has since gone on to reprise the role in subsequent video game releases. No word on any animated followups, however, which is a shame as his voice is so well suited for the character.
