34. Inviting Every Marvel Character To His Wedding
Now one of the most famous comic book covers in history, Deadpool #27 (designed by Scott Koblish) broke the Guinness World Record for the most recognisable comic book characters on a single front cover. All of these characters (232, 224 of which were deemed recognisable enough for inclusion in the record books) are guests at Wade Wilson's wedding, despite the fact that many of them are dead or arch-enemies. It's a brilliant example of the way that Deadpool, in his self-conscious way, seems to exist in a slightly different universe to the rest of the Marvel roster - one in which everyone is more than capable of getting along!
