5 Comic Book Candidates Who'd Make Good Presidents & 5 Who Wouldn't

4. Matt Murdock

During the Bendis run, some folks wanted Matt Murdock to run for mayor, even after his identity as Daredevil was publicly revealed. And it's not like Murdock doesn't have the credentials. He's one of the premiere law practitioners and lawyers in New York City, and specializes in helping the less fortunate. He's also a devout Catholic (though not much of a practicing one), but doesn't allow religious difference to harbor what he feels violates the morality of a nation of a multitude of beliefs. Murdock would most likely mirror that of President Reagan, with a hint of JFK, and bringing to the podium a handicap reminiscent of the FDR days. I'm not just saying it because Daredevil is my favorite superhero, I legitimately think that President Murdock has a good ring to it for more reasons than a thousand.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
