5. Thunderbolts
Coming out of the pages of Avengers: Standoff! this comic follows the Winter Soldier as he leads a new team of Thunderbolts. This new team is on the run from SHIELD as they have Kobik with them and plan to keep her out of SHIELD's hands.
The new iteration of the Thunderbolts is comprised of heroes and villains alike and together they are able to evade SHIELD, including the now villainous Captain America who is heavily invested in finding Kobik
Kobik's role is expanded in this series and watching her friendship with the Winter Soldier grow is at the core of everything. Written by Jim Zub with pencils by Jon Malin, the 2016 series only last for 12 issues, but has a very definitive end to it that will affect what happens during Secret Empire.
