5. Peter Parker & Johnny Storm
They may not have the most famous of friendships, but to those well read on both characters, Peter Parker and Johnny Storm really are great friends.
Most prominently in the Ultimate Comics run of Spider-Man, the two characters treat each other practically as brothers, with Johnny living with Peter and Bobby Drake at Parker's Aunt May's house.
In the main Earth-616 continuity, the two also share quite a close friendship, with the Human Torch even requesting that Spider-Man take his place on the Fantastic Four in his will, the founding member of the team dying heroically while fighting off a horde of aliens from the Negative Zone.
As you can tell, while their friendship may not exactly be the most famous, it is certainly one of Marvel's best.
