In terms of the characters in the MCU, there are few as far removed from each other as Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk. Not only have they never appeared on the screen together, Kingpin has never even appeared (and likely will never appear) in an MCU movie. Fisk is arguably the best villain to feature in the Netflix corner of the MCU and fits the darker, gritty tone, while Quill spends his days flying through space, cracking jokes, and talking to a tree.

In 2015, Chris Pratt swapped Peter Quill for Owen Grady, a man who spends his days cracking jokes and talking to Velociraptors, while D’Onofrio swapped the villainous Kingpin for the villainous Vic Hoskins. While Pratt’s two characters are very similar to each other, D’Onofrio is almost unrecognisable thanks to a full head of hair and a goatee.

These two are also joined in Jurassic World by Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer. Simpkins’ first MCU movie was Iron Man 3, and he was brought back for Tony Stark’s funeral in Avengers Endgame potentially hinting at a future role in the franchise. Judy Greer appears in both Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp as Scott Lang’s ex-wife and Cassie’s mom, Maggie.
