Avengers: Endgame - Everything You Need To Know About Black Knight

6. He Has Ties To Captain Britain

Last year there were rumours that none other than Guy Ritchie was in talks to helm a Captain Britain movie for Marvel, and though they too should be taken with a whole lot of salt (let's make it a bowl this time), the fact that Black Knight could appear in the MCU may also lend support to the theory that the film actually is in development.

But for what reason? Well Black Knight and Captain Britain actually share a lot of history, with the two having served together on the original Defenders back in the team's early stages. Afterwards, the pair went on to do the same again in 1996 with the founding of MI-13, an off-shoot of the UK's Secret Intelligence Service that recruited from the country's meta-human population, so they have a pretty solid relationship in the comics.

The same report that claimed Ritchie was involved in the production of a Captain Britain film also purported that Black Knight would appear as a supporting character, and an appearance in Endgame would certainly make his arrival easier.
