Batwoman Trailer Reactions: 3 Ups & 4 Downs

1. Ruby Rose Is Believable As Kate Kane

Ruby Rose's casting as Batwoman was undoubtedly a divisive decision. Some absolutely loved it while others hated - quite simply, there was no in-between.

That being said, she proved a lot of the naysayers wrong when she commanded the screen during the Elseworlds crossover, holding her own against Arrowverse vets Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell. But still, the question remained: Could she take on this iconic role in her own series? Well, after the trailer, the answer to that question is undoubtedly: Yes.

In the comics, Kate Kane is a no-nonsense hardened badass that has absolutely no problem rebelling against authority and, judging by what we've seen so far, Rose brings all of that to life with ease. Not only does her appearance just scream "badass", she turns in a totally believable and authentic performance.

As for the comments that claim she only had one facial expression the whole way throughout, the Bat-Family isn't exactly renowned for cracking smiles now, are they?

Congratulations CW, you've found your Batwoman.

Now, for the negatives...
