DC Extended Universe: 10 Post-Justice League Predictions

9. Man Of Steel 2 Will Introduce Supergirl

There's already a perfectly good Supergirl in the DC television universe, but if there can be two versions of the Flash, why can't there be two versions of Kara Zor-El?

Man of Steel 2 is yet to be officially announced, but if the rumours are to be believed, it will be in the not-too-distant future, possibly with Matthew Vaughn directing.

The sequel could feasibly arrive in the next three years and it marks the perfect opportunity to introduce Superman's biological cousin to the DC Extended Universe.

This is a strong possibility this will happen, for the sole reason that Wonder Woman was a box office smash and the DCEU's only unequivocal hit so far.

After Diana Prince's critical and commercial feats, female superheroes are suddenly hot property in Hollywood, so expect Warner Bros to milk this trend for all it's worth.

Cynicism aside, bringing Kara to the DCEU would be an interesting move. It would be nice to see Supes interacting with another Kryptonian in a positive way, instead of beating them to a pulp before breaking their neck.
