Fight Club 2: 10 Things You Need To Know

I am Jack's long awaited sequel.

The ending of Fight Club seemed pretty definitive. After meeting a mysterious, charismatic stranger who convinced him that modern consumerist society was bullplop, and they would do much better returning to their Neanderthal roots, going on to begin a cult anarchist group tasked with returning humanity to their base instincts, before realising that stranger was just another facet of his own personality, the unnamed narrator put a bullet in his head. That should have been an ending, but it wasn't. The film sees The Narrator miraculously surviving his self-inflicted gunshot wound, watching the towers of several big credit card company headquarters crashing to the ground in a controlled demolition of his orchestration. Well, that also seemed pretty definitive in its own way. But it wasn't. Almost twenty years on from the book's publication, and fifteen years in change after the film, Project Mayhem is slowly roaring back to life. Fight Club 2 was announced at last year's San Diego Comic Con and now its finally (almost here). But what exactly does Fight Club 2 look like? Who's going to be returning, and who's notable in their absence? And will it ever manage to be anywhere near as good as the endlessly misinterpreted cult classic its predecessor became? Here are ten things you need to know.
