MCU: 10 Fan Ideas Better Than What Marvel Have Planned

No one needs reminding that Marvel are leading DC by a great margin when it comes to the cinematic realm, but if the House of Mouse were to hammer that point home even further, then they'd do well to make a Thunderbolts film.

The Marvel equivalent of DC's Suicide Squad, the Thunderbolts are an anti-heroic team comprised of the House of Ideas' biggest bad guys, including the likes of Venom, Elektra and even Deadpool in its roster over the years. It's a Dirty Dozen idea that could actually resonate with critics and audiences alike, building upon past MCU ensembles in Guardians, Defenders and, more obviously, the Avengers, but with a villainous edge.

The Thunderbolts have never been able to boast a massive presence in the comics, but to say that Marvel don't have the villainous potential to make it work would just be wrong. With Spidey now back in Marvel's good books, there's the whole Sinister Six to contemplate, along with characters like Punisher, Bullseye and more, all of which have held membership on the team at some point or another.

DC might've beaten Marvel to the punch with this idea, but in one-upping their rivals, there couldn't possibly be a concept more tempting.
