New York Comic Con 2017: 10 Major Anouncements That Must Happen

9. A New Arkham Title

Although it's been quiet on the Arkham front for some time now, and NYCC is as unlikely a time as any for a new announcement to drop, it would be brilliant if DC could kick off the show with a look at a new entry in the series, ostensibly being cooked up by Warner Bros. Montreal.

Dubbed Arkham: Insurgency in a leak posted a while back, the title will supposedly follow on from Arkham Origins and be jam-packed with a gigantic cast of rogues, an origin story for Dick Grayson's Robin and, most importantly, will most definitely not include a Bat-tank. Woo!

Arkham Origins gets a bad rap for a whole host of reasons, but Montreal have been plying their trade on something for the past few years. There's little doubt that it'll be DC related; whether or not it's Batman, however, remains to be seen, and - even if Rocksteady are teasing something - Montreal's project deserves an official announcement. If not at NYCC, then at another event down the line.
