Ranking Every DC Animated TV Series From Worst To Best

9. Batman: The Brave And The Bold

The Brave and the Bold was just a class show. Not only did it fully embrace all the zany and wacky elements of Batman's history, it did it all quite unashamedly as well. There are literal episodes dedicated to classic comic book capers, with one even involving a story where Batman dons the always fantastic Rainbow Bat-suit. Another even takes on a distinctly Wacky Races vibe, featuring the Caped Crusader in a race against his rogues to save the world from Mongul and Steppenwolf.

And, if you think this sounds amazing, you'd be correct. Much like the comic of the same name, TBATB stuck to a formula that saw a bunch of DC heroes come together to take on a given threat. The show in particular featured the likes of Green Arrow, Doctor Fate, Deadman, Black Canary and more, capitalising on the success of Justice League and confidently using Batman's platform to shine a light on these lesser known characters.

The Brave and the Bold was just wondrously good fun, and a classic Batman series that fans should definitely seek out if they get the opportunity.
