Charles Soule can't seem to stop working, but when his work's this good, who can blame him?

The writer's able to boast successful stints on She-Hulk, Daredevil and Swamp Thing, and his work on Star Wars is just as good if not better. Which brings us to Poe Dameron - an ongoing series Soule has helmed since the middle of last year.

The comic explores everyone's favourite Resistance Ace before the events of The Force Awakens, and given the character's cult status, it's certainly a worthwhile endeavour. The always amazing Phil Noto handles art duties for the book, with its action sequences in particular always looking fast, fluid, and fabulous. Soule also has a great feel for the character and indeed the universe too, as is evidenced by the role he's had to play in crafting the new EU's formative moments.

The book does have its flaws, but it's certainly one of the best Star Wars titles out there right now - especially out of those that focus on the new era.
