The Runaways: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

Karolina Dean is one of the original Runaways and an extraterrestrial of the Majesdanian race. In her natural state, Karolina is luminous and has the ability to manipulate solar energy which in turn allows her to project energy blasts, shield herself and others as well as fly. To retain a regular human-like appearance she wears an inhibitor bracelet that suppresses her natural powers.

Part of her unique alien physiology is that she effectively has sunlight running through her veins which proves to be unexpectedly useful when the team is infiltrated by a vampire. A teenage vampire by the name of Topher befriended the group and endeared himself to them in order to get close enough to feed on them but when he tried to bite Karolina, he exploded.

Karolina was also to be wed to Xavin to broker peace between her race and the Skrull Empire but, after arguments at the wedding led to the destruction of her home planet, she returned to earth and began dating Power Pack member Julie Power.
