Year Of The Villain: Which DC Heroes Are Secretly Evil?

With the reveal of DC’s Year of the Villain event, there’s certainly no shortage of intense and exciting reveals about how this will change the face of the current DC universe.

Of these reveals, the most interesting has to be news on the new Batman/Superman series, which revolves around the duo hunting through Gotham to discover which heroes have secretly been infected by The Batman Who Laughs, and turned evil. With the Year of the Villain teaser comic suggesting that the Justice League will be calling in the entirety of the superhero community for a full-scale war against Perpetua, the stage has well and truly been set for a tense and exciting mystery surrounding who exactly is the traitor in the heroes midst.

In a sneak preview of the comic, we learn the first of these - as one of The Batman Who Laughs’s warped Robins is revealed to be Billy Batson, known perhaps better as the child form of Shazam. Not only does this make for a fantastic first reveal, but it also sets the stage perfectly for the excitement and tension that the series will entail - as it proves that nobody is safe from the clutches of The Batman Who Laughs.
