Young Justice: Outsiders - 10 Reasons To Be Excited

9. It Will Be More Adult

Young Justice Outsiders Comic Con
Warner Bros.

The story of Young Justice's cancellation is pretty interesting, at least if television production is your thing. The show received the corporate axe due to a lack of funds. Despite decent viewership and critical acclaim, the creators just didn't have the money to keep producing episodes.

The Problem: The audience was older than anticipated. The show was originally planned to be supported by merchandise revenue, namely toys. Turns out, the season long storylines didn't resonate with children as well as it did with teenagers and young adults.

Now, however, the program has a better grasp on their audience and will cater the material to a more mature group. More adult doesn't always mean better. However, letting the kids grow up a bit seems like a good fit here.
