First shown in the 1990s, Twin Peaks is a now legendary cult series created by Mark Frost and David Lynch. A psychological supernatural thriller set in a seemingly unassuming sleepy US town, the show focussed on an ongoing FBI investigation set up after the death of a homecoming queen.

As the story develops viewers come to discover that many of the residents who initially look to lead regular humdrum lives are not as normal as they first seem, but in fact are embroiled in more sinister and malevolent goings on. Creating a truly unique air or suspense and horror, coupled with an over the top dramatisation more akin to US soaps of the time, 25 years later it continues to inspire television shows, films, commercials, comic books, video games and song lyrics.

Fans are now able to relive the cult classic with this quirky cookbook from Lindsey Bowden - founder and producer of the Twin Peaks UK Festival. The book includes more than 100 recipes inspired by iconic scenes and characters such as Agent Cooper’s Super Crispy Bacon, Coffee Donuts, Icelandic Hangikjot, Leland Palmer’s Buffalo Joint, Maddy Ferguson’s Cherry Cola Ham, Percolator Fish Supper, Audrey Horne’s Cherry Julep, The Log Lady’s Chocolate Chestnut Log and, of course, the Double R Diner’s famous cherry pie. packed with fun facts and features, Damn Fine Cherry Pie is a must for Twin Peaks fans.
