Hailed as one of the best independent films of the year, Lionsgate debuts The Future on DVD. Written and directed by the celebrated Miranda July , the film also stars July, along with Hamish Linklater , David Warshofsky and Isabella Acres. Garnering top accolades on the Festival circuit, The Futurewas named a Special Selection at the Sundance Film Festival (2011) and was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear Award at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival. The DVD explores the dark comedy even further with special features that include an audio commentary with July, a behind-the-scenes featurette and a deleted scene. The film's premise?
