10 Insane Movie Sequels That We Really Wish Had Happened

It's A Sequel To: Casablanca (1942)

You'll often find Brazzaville, the once proposed sequel to the wonderful film that is Casablanca, on lists of sequels that people are glad never got made for fear of ruining the original: for a lot of people, the very notion of a sequel to this very iconic film is inherently insane.

And yet, take a second to properly consider Brazzaville: what would have been so bad about a follow-up movie to the acclaimed 1942 classic, especially one that chronicles the adventures of Rick Blaine and Louis as they continue their fight against the Nazis having joined the Free French in the titular Congolese city?

I know, I know: it's crazy and Casablanca is untouchable. And yet I'm genuinely sad that this film never happened. It could have been the beginning of a beautiful franchise.
