A key member of the group of young actors from the ‘80s that came to be known as the Brat Pack, that distinction at times seems to have held Emilio Estevez back. Easily dismissed as long as he was portrayed as being more interested in the salacious side of fame, that has led to some observers overlooking his obvious skills.

Best known for his parts in movies like Young Guns, The Breakfast Club, and The Mighty Ducks, as he reached middle age Estevez has focused on weightier fare. Now an accomplished director that has helmed celebrated films like Bobby and The Way, he has what it takes behind the scenes and on camera.

As such, it is about time that Hollywood gives him the budget and greenlight to tell his stories, no matter which of those roles he chooses to take on.

Growing up I developed a true love for movies and wrestling. I feel that way because I feel a great story has the power to place a filter over the lens that people see the world through. I also discovered comics in my early teens and have become a pop culture junkie. I love to write about my passions and am incredibly happy to have the opportunity to have you read my work.
