Green Lantern (2011), the superhero film we are all grateful did poorly so that we might later have Ryan Reynolds reborn as Deadpool.
If you don’t remember the plot, it doesn’t matter. What is important is that hero Hal Jordon is a test pilot for the Ferris Aircraft Company. His love interest is Carol Ferris, the vice president of Ferris Aircraft and childhood friend to Hal.
Blake Lively, who plays Carol, was only 24. Considering there is a 12-year age gap between the two actors, "childhood friends" would have actually looked like a 24-year old Hal hanging with a 12-year old Carol.
Luckily the two actors have good chemistry. Such good chemistry that Lively and Reynolds are now happily married, with kids.
