10 Actors Who Won't Be Coming Back For Upcoming Film Sequels

9. Isla Fisher - Now You See Me 2

Now You See Me, which starred Jesse Eisenberg, James Franco, Woody Harrelson and Isla Fisher as a group of magicians who set out to pull off a heist, was a surprise hit at the box office: on a relatively modest budget of $75 million, it managed to gross $351 million. Which means, of course, that a sequel was put in development - and it's out this year! Whilst Eisenberg, Ruffalo, and Harrelson will all reprise their roles in the film, though, Isla Fisher - who played Henley Reeves, an escapist and stage magician - won't be back. Instead, she's been replaced by a new character, set to be played by Lizzy Caplan. One might assume that Fisher left the franchise because she almost died drowned whilst filming one of the scenes in the original film (it's true!), but the real reason was a lot more boring: she was pregnant at the time and was therefore unable to commit to the sequel.
