For over forty years, Steven Spielberg has been entertaining audiences the world over, gifting film after film that have left marks on pop culture that will never be erased. He's one of only a few directors in history who has been able to work alongside the likes of Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio and managed to be just as big a star and household name as they are.

With several decades of directorial work under his belt having turned out some of the biggest films of all times, it's no surprise that he can attract all the talent he wants for any of his projects - even if he's merely serving as a producer - and has worked with a number of actors early in their own careers who went on to find even bigger fame.

Though the Spielberg-produced Jurassic World is currently smashing its way through the box office, let's take a look back at his body of work solely as a director in advance of his upcoming Bridge of Spies later this year to dig up 10 actors you've likely forgotten were in some of his films.

While fans of the legendary director, these actors or even these films may not find these surprising, this article is meant for those who haven’t seen these films in recent years and may be surprised to remember or even learn for the first time that these recognizable actors were in them at all…

The Movie: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Who He Played: A British army officer whose last minute efforts to get Indy and his companions seats on a plane unwittingly meant getting them a ride on one of Lao Che's.

Why You Forgot:  Between the accent and the mere seconds of hurried screentime, it's all too easy to overlook that it's Spielberg's 1941 star and SNL alum Aykroyd in the above scene.
