10 Awesome Horror Movie Twists You Never Saw Coming

One of the better Saw derivatives in recent memory that toys with the 'gameshow' format of horror movies, Would You Rather centres on a dinner party where the attendees are in competition to win a large sum of money, more than enough to change their lives or those closest to them to drastic effect. It's the latter that Iris is playing for, wanting to last the night for her brother's leukaemia treatment that she's struggling to afford - but she's totally unprepared for the hellish night about to be thrust upon her.

After a good dose of electrocution, explosives, whipping, and even a spot of eye slitting, Iris makes it out as the last woman standing and takes her bag of money after shooting a man point blank as her final task. When she makes it home, however, the twist kicks in - that she's done all of these horrific acts, hurt herself mentally and physically, and risked everything for her brother's treatment - and he's killed himself whilst she was away for the night so she doesn't have to care for him any more.

It's dark, but excellently executed, since you never really see characters escape these situations so cleanly only to be destroyed by outside influence.
