10 Best & 10 Worst Movies By Kingsman Actors

From Green Lantern to The Dark Knight.

Whatever you make of the divisive, recently released Kingsman: The Golden Circle, it's undeniable that the spy movie sequel is blessed with a fantastic ensemble cast, much like its acclaimed predecessor.

Like just about everyone else in Hollywood, these actors have had their shares of ups and downs over the years, from winning Oscars in certified cinematic classics, to taking blatant paycheck roles in undeniable critical and box office duds. It's all swings and roundabouts.

Such is the exciting and unpredictable nature of the film industry, of course, but scanning through the Kingsman series' biggest actors' filmographies, it's clear just how widespread their successes and, indeed, their failures are.

For every unforgettable masterpiece on this list, there's a flaming, humbling trainwreck to wince at, a welcome reminder that even the best actors aren't above pimping themselves out for a new house every now and then (isn't that right, Michael Caine?)...

Worst...

10. Green Lantern (Mark Strong)

Green Lantern Mark Strong Sinestro
Warner Bros.

An epically awful $200 million misfire, neither Mark Strong nor lead Ryan Reynolds could do much to elevate this infamous comic book dud, a textbook example of blockbuster bloat run amok.

Melding eye-searingly awful visual effects (including an entirely CGI Green Lantern suit) with an abundance of generic superhero origin story tropes and forced comic relief, this is a film that was clearly pulled in several different directions by its four screenwriters, director Martin Campbell and a studio hungry for a billion-dollar hit.

The worst thing that can really be said about Green Lantern is that it's boring, and as such you probably don't remember that much about it. Fingers crossed that the upcoming DC Extended Universe reboot finally gets the character right.
