9. The Rooftop Rescue (Suicide Squad)
The Joker's relationship with Harley Quinn is one that we've never seen on the big screen before, and if there's one thing you can praise Suicide Squad for openly, it's that milestone.
Throughout the film, The Joker has one sole purpose - to reunite himself with Harley. At one point, the titular squad are on top of the Ostrander building, having freed Amanda Waller, only to find out that their rescue vehicle has been hijacked by the Joker's crew, who rain bullets down on them mercilessly.
It's the Joker's outfit that makes this a great Joker moment - he's dressed to impress in his finest for the reunion with his girl. It's clear that to him, and to Harley, this violent warzone is their idea of romantic - brilliantly, this is his idea of a date.
With one simple outfit choice alone, this scene is able to give a superb insight into the way the dynamic between The Joker and Harley works.
